Walkable and safe, with a clifftop boardwalk, bike lanes, and Kennedy Park nearby. Excellent restaurants, cafés, and shopping, plus quick access to Costa Verde for beach and surf. The best base if you want everything on foot.
About Miraflores
- A comfortable base for a first visit. Stay near the boardwalk (Parque del Amor to the Lighthouse) or within a few blocks of Kennedy Park for easy access to cafés and restaurants. Avoid sleeping right around Parque Kennedy/Larco if nighttime noise bothers you — on weekends there's music and honking until late. Ride-hailing apps work great for getting around; a trip to Barranco usually takes 10–20 min depending on traffic. You can reach the coast via Bajada Balta and Armendáriz. ATMs and supermarkets: Larcomar, Balta Shopping, Wong/Metro on the main avenues. Bring a windbreaker — even on cloudy days the sea breeze is real. Keep your phone put away at busy intersections and watch out for cyclists. If you head out late, request your ride from inside the venue.
